A&S RAP Faculty Learning Community

In the fall of 2017, Elizabeth Anderman, Amanda MCAndrew, and I co-founded and co-facilitated the A&S RAP Faculty Learning Community. This learning community was created to build community and connections among faculty from all Arts and Sciences RAPs and continues to be active as of Spring 2019. The primary goal of the community is to create cohesion and connection between individual RAPs, align individual RAP learning goals with the newly announced ARPAC learning goals, develop appropriate assessment measures, and investigate evidence-based teaching and learning practices. By engaging in these activities, the current sense of rigor and teaching excellence in the RAPs is strengthened, becomes more cohesive, and is collectively communicated and continuously cultivated in this community.
